Here’s a way to get your family involved in a little cardio and a lot of fun….THE ZOO!!! Take the kids to the zoo in the morning before it gets too hot, and walk the whole thing. Depending on how big your zoo is, that’s at least an hour of walking. I know you won’t be getting to a high intensity, but walking is better than sitting on your booty. If you have a kid in a stroller, even better…you’re adding at least 25 lbs to your resistance. If you don’t have kids, who cares? The zoo is a great place for a date or even just a place to get away from the craziness of life. If you can’t tell, I love the zoo. Get a comfy pair of shoes and get to the zoo!
